There is only one race you can’t
miss this July, and that’s the
Xtreme Dragbike Association
(XDA) 18th annual WPGC Bike Fest
on July 27-29, 2018 at Maryland
International Raceway (MDIR)
located in Mechanicsville,
Maryland.

There will be over 700
Professional, Sportsman, and
Grudge motorcycle drag racers in
competition competing for
$34,000 in cash purse at this
event. But this event is more
than just a drag race, the WPGC
Bike Fest has something for
everyone. Racing starts on
Friday, then the volume gets
turned up on Saturday and Sunday
with an action-packed venue
featuring something for
everyone:

Eight Live Bands with a
Headline by King Combs
The WPGC stage will be jamming
with DC’s hottest bands on
Sunday, and WPGC's own DJ Flexx
and Tony Redz will be hosting
the show! MDIR played host to
Destiny’s Child right before
they became a hit, and now we
are featuring Diddy’s son, King
Combs who is on the come up in
the R&B market. Come out and
witness history as King Combs
turns into the next big star.
The event will also feature
seven other great performances
by DJ Young Music, Top 5, Reesa
Renee, Lesa Campbell, Mr. Major,
Adam E, and T-Graves!

Baggers vs Slingshots Sound

Rickie Will from Team Money
Cycles and Jimmie Da Plug from
SS Takeover will be hosting a
special “Bagger vs. Slingshot”
Sound Off on Saturday afternoon.
Sound
Competition and Custom Bike Show

feature more than 100 of the
baddest bikes you have ever

250mph Top
Fuel Match Racing
The event will
feature a 5-second, 250mph Top
Fuel match race. These Nitro
burning monsters carry the front
wheel all the way to the 1/4
mile and shoot flames six feet
in the air! Champion Larry
"Spiderman" McBride and Dave
Vantine will battle head-to-head
on Saturday and Sunday aboard
the meanest machines you have
ever seen! In 2014 Jason
Miller’s tack prep produced Top
Fuel’s first side-by-side
five-second run, so come out to
MDIR and witness another
historic run that you can tell
your grandchildren about!

Paint The 1/4
Pink
The famous “Paint The 1/4 Pink”
program is back as we raise
money for the "Bikers Against
Breast Cancer" foundation. This
program is for female riders
only and they will compete on
Saturday. So, come on out and
show your support.
Bikini Contest
The Bikini Contest has been a
part of WPGC since the beginning
and features the hottest girls

Orient Express
Pro Street
Class Points Leader – Jeremy
Teasley
The Orient Express Pro Street
class features 650+ horsepower
motorcycles, these are the
baddest street tire motorcycles
in the world, and XDA has them.
These turbocharged,
supercharged, and nitrous
injected motorcycles are running
at speeds over 220mph in the 1/4
mile in just 6-seconds. With
over twenty bikes confirmed for
this event, and cooler than
average temperatures predicted,
it’s going to be a battle of
ET’s as racers try and move up
the Pro Street GOAT list for
bragging rights. And with only
three events left in the season,
racers will be fighting for a
top ten finish to qualify for
the chance to compete in front
of 30,000 fans at the World Cup
Finals Import vs. Domestic event
in November at MDIR in a special
$5,000 to win Pro Street
Shootout sponsored by Platinum
General Services.

And NEW for Pro Street -
Starting at the WPGC Bike Fest,
XDA is proud to announce the
Penske Racing Shocks Pro Street Shootout with
a $2,000 Cash payout! Eight
riders will have the chance to
enter for the CASH event that
will eliminate during the three
qualifying rounds on Saturday.
On the Tuesday before each
event, we will have an online
sign-up in the Pro Street Riders
Group page on Facebook at 8pm.
The first 8 riders to sign up
and pay the $250 entry will run
at that event! Winner takes
$2,000, and the Runner-up gets
$250.00. That brings the total
payout for Pro Street up to
$8,150.00 in one weekend. And
for the Battle Royale in
September, we will increase the
class to a 16-bike field with a
payout of $4,000. Who is ready
to win some cash while
qualifying?
There is no other sanction more
dedicated to the Pro Street
class, and we are out to prove
it! Qualifying starts Friday
night at 8pm in this class, come
out for night racing, you don’t
want to miss a second of it!

DME Racing
Real Street
Class Points Leader – Spencer
Claycomb
The DME Racing Real Street class
will see its first full field at
the Bike Fest after several
rules changes were posted four
weeks ago giving several models
additional wheelbase. Real
Street Rookie, Spencer Claycomb,
has qualified number one at both
races and has made it to both
finals giving himself a 7-1
round record for 2018. However,
Eddie Chapman who took his first
ever Real Street win has tasted
victory and is showing up with
his crew for another winner’s
circle finish. Claycomb may lead
points, but he will have to win
a few rounds to keep it, and
after some motor carnage at a
race last weekend, he may have
his hands full with the
competition at MDIR.

HTP
Performance Grudge
HTP Performance Grudge will once
again run on the best-prepped
track any series has to offer.
The bikes in this class are
wicked fast and will feature the
best the East Coast has to offer
in No-Time racing. At the last
event, grudge racers were
removing their slicks and
replacing them with street tires
because the track was so tight.
This event will be no exception
as we are expecting 30+ grudge
bikes to show up and lay down
their covert times. Will anyone
have the stones to put up big
dollars and challenge another
heavy hitter or will everyone
just be making test passes?

Vance & Hines
4.60
Class Points Leader – Boo Brown
The Vance & Hines 4.60 class is
now in its sixth year and sports
the most robust turnouts
anywhere in the country. There
are 25+ bikes already confirmed
for this event! And, the
competitors of this class are
putting on a brutal show at each
event. This class is so brutal
the racers pull money together
for a gamblers race during
qualifying. Mike Thyen and
Richard Gadson have both taken
wins; however, Boo Brown and Mac
McAdams have won enough rounds
to keep themselves in front of
the pack. We can guarantee a
bloodbath of double-0 lights and
numerous 4.60 ET’s in qualifying
at the WPGC Bike Fest.

The FBR Shop
5.60
Class Points Leader – Jeremy
Teasley
Since the inception of MIROCK,
the 5.60 class has been a stable
at the events. The FBR Shop 5.60
class features 1/8 mile racing
with great side by side action
from both street bikes and
wheelie bar bikes. Jeremy
Teasley and Spencer Claycomb
have a firm hold on the top two
points positions, but with one
slip up, any of the top 15
riders in competition could do a
class take over. So, show up and
be ready to play.

Shinko Tires
Crazy 8’s
Class Points Leader – Jeremy
Teasley
Out of the three classes that
Jeremy Teasley is leading in
points, Shinko Tires Crazy 8’s
is the class he holds the most
significant gap. He has a
forty-three point lead, but that
can be taken away with one
first-round loss by Teasley and
a good weekend performance from
any one of the top ten points
holders. With only three events
left in the season, there is no
room for error.

Mickey
Thompson Top Sportsman
Class Points Leader – Wilson
Burkhead
In the last two races, Ryan
Bonitatis and Jay Windsor have
owned the top two spots in
qualifying with their
seven-second motorcycles. With
Bonitatis on a 2007 Suzuki and
Windsor on a 2007 Kawasaki, you
have to wonder if the 07’s have
something special going on in
this class. Despite being the
fastest bikes in the class,
neither has won a race yet this
year, Windsor has seen a final
but botched his chances with a
red light. Current points leader
Wilson Burkhead took a win at
the last race, but he can’t
celebrate this lead as it’s only
one point over Windsor and
George Shriver. Will Bonitatis
qualify number one for the third
event in a row? Place your bets
and come out and watch the bump
spot drop all day!

MPS Racing Pro
ET
Class Points Leader – Derrick
Milbourne/Mike Schulz
With over 200 competitors in MPS
Racing Pro ET points, this class
has the tightest points battle
over all the other categories.
Current points leaders Derrick
Milbourne and Mike Schulz have a
slight lead over the class
despite having not won an event
this year. With two races in one
weekend, racers have a chance to
win $9,000 in payout and more
importantly an opportunity to
earn points, because every round
counts in this championship
chase.

Brock’s
Performance Street ET
Class Points Leader – Bob
Carlson
At the last event, points leader
Roy Johnson didn’t fare well
with two first-round losses in
Brock’s Performance Street. This
unfortunate series of luck made
way for Bob Carlson, Mike
Schulz, and Shayne Proctor to
gain points on him to push
Johnson to fourth place. Bob
Carlson is now the leader of 136
competitors hunting for the
Street ET championship. With
only a slim lead he will need to
win several rounds at Bike Fest
if he wants to hold on to this
potential title.

So, where will you be next
weekend, at home cutting the
grass or being entertained by
the best drag racing promoters
in the industry? Come be a part
of history at XDA’s 18th annual
WPGC Bike Fest on July 27-29,
2018 at Maryland International
Raceway, we have something for
everyone.
