The Xtreme Dragbike Association
(XDA) takes Motorcycle Drag
Racing back to Virginia
Motorsports Park for the
Inaugural Bike Bash on August
23-25, 2019. This is a
must-attend event for any east
coast drag racing enthusiast.
XDA offers guaranteed purses
that bring out the best racers
in the country with over 700
Professional, Sportsman, and
Grudge motorcycle drag racers in
competition. This season XDA
will payout over $200,000 in
purse money along with a
$120,000 contingency fund that
spans all classes. And this
weekend the chase continues as
racers compete for over $40,000
in cash purse with a shot at the
2019 championship titles which
include $9,000 in cash bonuses
plus additional hardware!

The event features the Orient
Express Pro Street class that
run speeds over 230 mph in only
6-seconds! And on Saturday
Night, the HTP Performance
Afterdark Underground Grudge
Program will feature the
"Running of the Bulls" Grudge
Shootouts and all the Grudge
Racing you can handle! Along
with a quality race program,
this event will also feature a
Live DJ, Freestyle MX Show,
Bikini Contest, Sound
Competition, Custom Bike Show,
Beer Garden and a vendor midway
full of great deals on
motorcycle parts, accessories,
and apparel.
Team Money Cycles will also be
hosting their "Speed and Sound"
Tour at this event on Saturday &
Sunday with a Sound Competition
and Custom Bike Show. Plus,
there will also be a "Baggers vs
Slingshots" showdown on Saturday
evening with Jimmie Da Plug's SS
Takeover Slingshots. These are
the wildest custom bikes you
have ever seen!
Orient Express
Pro Street
Class Points Leader - Rodney
Williford
The baddest street tire
motorcycles in the world will
assemble once again for the
Orient Express Pro Street class.
With a track smooth as glass,
these 650+ horsepower
motorcycles running at speeds
over 230mph in the quarter-mile,
in only 6-seconds will be
setting records all weekend. You
do not want to miss the
thrilling racing action served
up by these all-stars.

With only two races left in the
season, and only ten spots
available for the Haltech World
Cup Finals presented by Wiseco
Import vs. Domestic event, pro
street racers will be turning up
the performance dial. Racers
will be fighting for a top ten
finish in points to qualifying
for the chance to compete in
front of 40,000+ fans for the
event on October 30th – November
3rd. But of the ten that
qualify, only eight will compete
in the $5,000 to win Pro Street
Shootout sponsored by Platinum
General Services.

Ehren Litten on the 'Fastest Pro
Street in the World' sits in the
number five spot for points. And
after a disappointing
first-round loss at the WPGC
Bike Fest last month, he said,
"I will not be losing any more
rounds this year." Teammate
Rodney Williford currently holds
the number one spot and needs to
stay in front of DME Racing's
Jeremy Teasley. In the last two
events, Teasley has made
significant gains in the points
chase, and his team is hungry
for an XDA championship. And
with only eighteen points
separating these two titans, it
will only take Teasley one round
of advancement to take over the
number one spot.

But when it comes to racing at
Virginia Motorsports Park, the
racer everyone will have their
eye on is Jordan Haase on the
John Gover tuned Hayabusa. Haase
always puts down his best
performance at VMP and won the
last event earlier this year.
For the last two years, the
Williford team has been
undefeated at VMP, and they will
be looking to hold onto to that
winning streak.
The racers with the most on the
line at this event to qualify
for the Haltech World Cup Finals
presented by Wiseco (WCF), are
Jason Dunigan, Ryan Schnitz, and
Richard Gadson. Schnitz won the
WCF race last year, and he
currently sits on the outside of
qualifying in the thirteenth
spot. With a missed race earlier
this year, he will need to gain
ground as he sits forty-one
points outside of the top ten.
Jason Dunigan holds the number
ten spot, but he needs to win
rounds this weekend if he wants
to stay there. And Richard
Gadson who qualified for the WCF
race last year was not able to
make the event, and now sits in
the number twelve spot, only
twelve points outside of the top
ten. Gadson on the Brad Mummert
GS 1100 nitrous machine has
every intention of making it to
the WCF race this year, and his
competition ahead of him will be
looking to take him out early.

At our last event Canadian
racer, Rob Aston made the long
drive to his first XDA race and
ran his quickest pass to date.
Next weekend fellow Canadian
Ethan Barkley will make his
first XDA appearance looking to
top Aston's performance last
month to take over the 'Quickest
Canadian Racer at XDA' title.
DME Racing
Real Street
Class Points Leader - Mark
Hylton
In DME Racing Real Street we
have a four-way battle for the
2019 championship. Mark Hylton
who has two wins this year,
Anibal Merced, Spencer Claycomb,
and Jeremy Teasley all still
have a chance to at the throne.
Jeremy Teasley who is in the
fourth spot, is only forty
points behind Hylton, which is
only a one round separator
showing you how close these four
guys are in this championship
chase.

Of the four, Hylton is the only
rider who has not held a
championship win in Real Street,
and he wants to bring that win
home to North Carolina for the
Xtreme Performance Team and
plans to be at the top of his
game next weekend.

Bud Harrod who finished top ten
in points last year has missed
the entire season but will be at
VMP next weekend to get back
into action on his seven second
'Bad Influence' Hayabusa.
Alisha Malone, who has also
missed the entire season waiting
for her bike to be finished,
will also debut for the season
next weekend at the Bike Bash.
She has promised that her All
Motor Suzuki GSX-R1000 will make
a strong debut. "We'll stop at
nothing to get where we need to
be, I have a powerful team
behind me to get us there," said
Malone.

Teasley who ran the first fifty
in Real Street competition with
a 7.592 at the last race was
unable to back it up as an
official record, and he will be
looking to secure that record at
VMP.
The VMP race will feature
another full field of Real
Street racers with sixteen bikes
already confirmed for battle!
Pro Xtreme
Class Points Leader - Kevin
Clarke
The newly added Pro Xtreme class
has been running on a limited
schedule for the 2019 season and
will make its first appearance
at VMP next weekend. Kevin
Clarke is currently leading the
points in this eighth-mile
heads-up class featuring
Turbocharged, Supercharged,
Injected Nitro Methane, and
Nitrous Injected drag bikes on
gasoline or methanol.

However, Rodney Williford who
has the quickest bike in the
class, is only forty-five points
behind Clarke and is ready to
make a move next weekend. At the
last event Williford qualified
with a 3.99 and met Clarke in
the final, was let down with a
mechanical issue at the starting
line. Knowing Williford, that
will not happen again and he
will be focused on a win and a
chance to win the first Pro
Xtreme championship.
The class will be supported with
a full field already confirmed
for the event along with
newcomer to the series, Keith
Browne who will be competing
with his turbocharged Suzuki
entry.
Pro Xtreme is presented by DME
Racing, Fast by Gast, Harley
Haul, MaxxECU, McCoy
Motorsports, MTC, Rob Bush
Motorsports, Timblin Chassis,
and Worldwide Bearings.
HTP
Performance Grudge
The Saturday night HTP
Performance Afterdark
Underground Grudge Program will
feature the four Bulls classes.
XDA's "Running of the Bulls"
features Boosted Bulls, APE
Nitrous Bulls, Monster Bulls,
and Unit 5 Components Brahma
Bulls headlining Saturday night
with a potential 54K payout for
full fields.
HTP Performance Grudge will run
on our 'no excuse' prepped track
all three days behind the Pro
classes as part of XDA's
world-class show. If you want to
see your quickest time-slip to
date, we can deliver that!
Dave Norris in APE Nitrous Bulls
leads points on 'Yellow Jacket'
which he will be selling at the
end of the season. If you are
looking to get in the grudge
game, this bike will catapult
you to the top in no time.

David Page on 'Pickin Pockets'
leads points in Monster Bulls.
Page and Rendolf Torbed on 'Kastigala'
have two wins each this season.
Josh Keller on 'Nasty Nate' took
a runner-up at the last event.
Keller is making changes to his
bike and looking to close the
gap next weekend. And if his
bike isn’t ready, he already has
another rider on standby.
In Unit 5 Brahma Bulls Nicholas
Mazeika on 'Clockwork' has
already clinched the
championship for 2019. He has
taken three wins this year, and
even with two events left in the
season, he cannot be beaten.
Spots are still available, sign
up now and reserve yours today
at www.xdaracing.com/bulls and

Vance and
Hines 4.60
Class Points Leader - Michael
Ostrowski
The Vance & Hines 4.60 class
already has thirty-two riders
locked in and ready to battle on
the 1/8 mile next weekend. With
only two events to go, the
competition is so tight that
it's anyone's guess who will
take the championship. Michael
Ostrowski who finished tied for
third last year has his hands
grasped on the top spot with a
forty-six point lead. However,
looking at points, the top
thirteen riders all have a
realistic chance to win the
championship.

Kevin White, who sits in the
thirteenth spot and 172 points
behind the leader, can still win
the 2019 championship with two
races left in the season. Last
year's champion, Richard Gadson,
took the championship by only
one point! This class will
likely string us along down to
the last round at the DME Racing
Fall Nationals on September
20-22, 2019!
The FBR Shop
5.60
Class Points Leader - Bob
Carlson
Will Courtlan Whiting be able to
snag The FBR Shop 5.60
championship away from current
points leader Bob Carlson? His
performance at the last two
events shows he's putting the
work in for championship
contention. But with a slew of
hungry eighth-mile racers at
their feet, it will be no easy
feat to stay on top.

Andrew Ritchey who sits almost
100 points behind the front
runners could still shoot to the
top with a final-round
appearance. Next weekend's event
could shake up the order leaving
many racers leaving VMP with
expectations for a possible
championship going into the
final event.
Shinko Tires
Crazy 8's
Class Points Leader - Dustin Lee
Dustin Lee will come into the
final with a stout lead over the
competition, but he will have to
continue going rounds in this
class if he wants to hold onto
it. Racers in the top half of
the field will need to take out
Lee in an early-round and
advance to a final round
appearance if they want to make
gains on him at the Bike Bash.

Duane Jackson and Boo Brown are
both in the closest striking
distance to overtake the points
lead, but they will need to make
a final round appearance next
weekend to close the points gap.
Mickey
Thompson Top Sportsman
Class Points Leader - Bobby
Holland
Our Mickey Thompson Top
Sportsman class is wide open as
we go into the Bike Bash next
weekend. Bobby Holland leads by
only thirty points, which is not
enough to secure his place at
the top. Jimmy Shifflett who was
leading the first three events
of the season, is sitting back
in fifth place, forty points
behind Holland. The most points
a racer can win in one event is
seventy-one. Mathematically the
top seventeen racers all have a
shot at the 2019 championship.

Robin Procopio who is our only
female who has qualified for Top
Sportsman this year sits in the
eighth spot, fifty-one points
out of first. Last year Procopio
finished points tied for eighth
place, and we know she is going
to want to move the needle this
year for a better placement.
Procopio typically has a
reaction time that rivals the
competition, and she can run
7.90's on her 2010 Suzuki bar
bike giving her a real shot at
the championship this year.
MPS Racing Pro
ET
Class Points Leader - Shayne
Proctor
There are four chances left this
year for the MPS Racing Pro ET
racers to make a move in points.
Our points leader Shayne Proctor
is only leading by one round.
Jimmie Miller, who opened the
season as the points leader sits
fifty points out of first and
still has a chance to close the
season back on top.

Ryan Bonitatis who took a
runner-up finish this year in
Pro ET and Top Sportsman is
still in the hunt for the
Winner's Circle on his 1 Stop
Speed Hayabusa. He currently
sits sixty-one points out of the
top spot in Pro ET and
thirty-one points for Top
Sportsman. Next weekend he will
be putting his 'Top Secret Gen 2
Clutch Tune' to the test as he
makes a play for the top spots.
Brock's
Performance Street ET
Class Points Leader - Dustin Lee
Brock's Performance has seen 249
riders this year, but no one has
been able to dethrone last
year's champion Dustin Lee. Lee
leads the class by 122 points.
But the competition can still
overtake him with four races in
two events left to earn points.
All events offer a first-round
re-entry for a second chance to
earn a win both Saturday and
Sunday.

Russell Dennison Jr has been on
fire this year in the
performance department, running
multiple classes and winning
rounds across the board, and
currently sits second in points
behind Lee. Dennison has a real
shot to take out the veteran
this weekend or close the gap
before heading into the finals
in September.
Load up and head out to Virginia
Motorsports Park in one week for
an exciting weekend of
motorcycle drag racing action.
This will be our last time at
VMP, you don’t want to miss
racing on the smoothest track in
the country.
Gates open on Friday at 8 am,
testing starts at 11 am, and
qualifying begins at 8 pm for
the Pros and Grudge. On Saturday
the Baggers vs Slingshot
competition goes down at 4pm,
and on Sunday we have
entertainment all day starting
at 11am with the Bike Show,
Sound Competition, Live DJ,
Freestyle MX show, and Bikini
Contest.
